Introduction
Parcel Tracker is an Internal parcel tracking software for residential, student housing, co-working offices, universities, and more.
With Parcel Tracker, you can:
Parcel Tracker is available globally, works with all couriers, and can even detect hand-written parcel labels. |
Check out this 50-second video to see how Parcel Tracker can save your time, resources, and make parcel management easier.
Parcel/mail management has become easier than ever, thanks to Parcel Tracker.
To get started, all you need to do is follow the steps below.
Step 1. Add recipients
Before you start logging parcels, you will need to update your recipient (students, residents, or tenants) database. Parcel Tracker scans parcels by relying on existing information; if the recipients aren't in the system, the app will not be able to detect their parcels.
There are two ways to add recipients on Parcel Tracker:
- Bulk upload recipients with a CSV file on Parcel Tracker's web platform - add thousands of recipients at once with just a few clicks.
- Add recipients manually on Parcel Tracker's web platform or mobile app - easily add a few recipients without having to update the whole database.
Step 2. Log a parcel & notify residents automatically
After updating your recipient database, you are ready to scan parcels.
Using Parcel Tracker's mobile app, you can log multiple parcels and notify multiple people in a single go.
If you're unable to log the parcel by scanning, you can always enter the information (parcel recipient name and barcode) manually into the mobile app or the web platform.
Note: In the case of manual log-in, there will not be any images in the Parcel Overview section because Parcel Tracker captures images while scanning parcel labels. |
Step 3. Log a parcel out
Once you notify your recipients, they will get an email with the number of parcels they can collect and a QR code that they need to present during parcel collection.
Note: If you enable SMS notifications, the recipients will also automatically get text message reminders. You can edit the email template yourself at any time by accessing your Parcel Tracker account's Notifications section on our web platform. |
Parcel Tracker makes parcel collection much easier, faster, and more eco-friendly.
Using Parcel Tracker's mobile app, you can log parcels out by simply scanning the QR codes sent to recipients.
Note: You can access proof-of-pickup (signatures or images) in your Parcel Tracker account anytime. |
If the recipient can't present a QR code, you can log the parcels out manually via Parcel Tracker's mobile app or web platform.
In both cases, the recipient should leave an electronic signature as proof-of-pickup.
If you are out delivering parcels rather than having recipients pick them up, you can log the parcels out manually.
In that case, simply take a picture as proof of delivery using Parcel Tracker's mobile app. You can access all parcel information (signatures, images, etc.) in Search History on the app or in the Deliveries section on the web platform anytime.
