One-step vs two-step scanning

There are two scan modes for logging parcels on Parcel Tracker's app:

One-step scan mode lets you log a parcel with a single scan of the label. The app will detect the recipient's name, the room number, and the barcode all at once.
Two-step scan mode lets you log parcels out in two steps. You will need to first scan the recipient's name on the label and then scan the barcode.

Note: No matter which scan mode you select, Parcel Tracker will capture the images of the scanned parcels. You can see the images anytime in

The two-step scan mode is the default setting on Parcel Tracker's app but you can switch between scan modes anytime in the Settings.

To switch between scan modes on Android devices:

Click Settings.
Click Select Scan mode.
- Select Single scan mode.
- Select Two step scan mode.
Click anywhere on the screen to go back.

To switch between scan modes on iOS devices:

Click Settings.
- Turn on the Enable two step scanning feature to select the two-step scan mode.
- Turn off the Enable two step scanning feature to select the one-step scan mode.
