Web platform
On our web platform, you can only log parcels manually by typing the recipient's name (or room number), and then the parcel's barcode:
- In your Parcel Tracker account, click
Deliveries in the main navigation bar.
- Click the Log New Delivery button > start typing recipient's name > select recipient.
- Enter the barcode > click Add > click OK.
Note: If you log a parcel on our web platform, it will not have any images in the Deliveries section or Search History because Parcel Tracker captures images while scanning the labels. |

The two-step scanning mode
To log parcels by scanning labels using the two-step scanning mode on Android devices:

Scan the recipient's name & manually type the barcode
If the barcode is too blurry or faded on the parcel's label but the recipient's name doesn't have any issues, you can log the parcel by scanning the recipient's name, and then manually typing the barcode:

If the recipient's name is too blurry or faded on the parcel's label but the barcode doesn't have any issues, you can log the parcel by manually searching for the recipient, and then scanning the barcode:

The one-step scanning mode
Note: The two-step scan mode is the default setting on Parcel Tracker's app but you can switch between scan modes anytime in the Settings. |
To log parcels by scanning labels using the one-step scanning mode on Android devices:

Note: No matter which scan mode you select, Parcel Tracker will capture the images of the scanned parcels. Manually logged parcels won't have images. You can see the images anytime in ![]() ![]() |
