When a recipient says they haven’t received a notification, the cause is usually either a notification setting in Parcel Tracker or something on the recipient’s side, such as a spam folder, a blocked sender, or an unsubscribe. The most common causes are listed below, with what to check for each. For the complete step-by-step guide, see How to Troubleshoot Missing Recipient Notification Emails.
In Parcel Tracker
No template assigned: go to
Settings>Inbound Notificationsand confirm that a notification template is assigned to the site for each notification type. Without one, no email is sent.A delay or schedule: check whether a notification delay or schedule is holding the email back.
The recipient’s own channels: open the recipient from
Recipients. IfDefer to template level notification channel configurationis off, confirm thatEmailis selected.
On the recipient’s side
Spam or junk folder: ask the recipient to check it. Notification emails are sent from [email protected]. If the email is there, they can move it to their inbox and mark the sender as trusted.
A blocked sender: ask the recipient to check their blocked senders list for that address and remove it if it’s there.
A filter or security setting: some email accounts, especially work or school ones, have filters or security rules that block automated emails before they reach any folder. If the email isn’t in the inbox or the spam folder, ask the recipient to check with whoever manages their email, such as their organization’s IT team or their email provider, to see if messages from [email protected] are being blocked.
An unsubscribe: if the recipient has unsubscribed from Parcel Tracker emails, they will no longer receive notifications, even when everything else checks out. If you suspect this, contact our support team.
