Reminder notifications
You can edit the content, frequency, and number of the email reminders that are automatically sent out to recipients.
To edit the email template on our web platform:
In your Parcel Tracker account, click
Notifications.
In the Reminder section, click Actions > click Edit.
Edit the email template > click Submit to save the changes.
Template name
To change the name of the template:
On the Configure Notifications page, click on the
pen icon.
Enter the new name.
Click Submit to save the changes or move on to the next section you want to edit.
Change email subject
To edit the email subject:
Click on the Subject line > enter new text.
Change email heading
To edit the email heading:
Click on the Heading line > enter new text.
Click Variables > select the variable you want to insert in the heading (First Name, Last Name, Parcels Waiting, Parcels Collected, Building Name, Email).
Change email subheading
To edit the subheading:
Click on the Subheading line > enter new text.
Click Variables > select the variable you want to insert (First Name, Last Name, Parcels Waiting, Parcels Collected, Building Name, Email).
Change email body
To add/edit the email body:
Click on the Body line > enter new text.
Click Variables > select the variable you want to insert (First Name, Last Name, Parcels Waiting, Parcels Collected, Building Name, Email).
Set reminder frequency (Reminders Delay)
To set the frequency of automatic email reminders sent out to recipients from Parcel Tracker:
Click on the section under Reminders Delay (Hours).
Enter the number of hours you want between email reminders (or adjust the number by clicking the
arrows).
Note: Recipients can snooze their email reminders. In that case, they won't get any reminders until they receive a new parcel. |
Set maximum number of reminders
To set the maximum number of automatic email reminders sent out to recipients from Parcel Tracker:
Click on the section under Maximum Number of Reminders.
Enter the maximum number of emails you want to be sent out (or adjust the number by clicking the
arrows).
Enable/disable QR codes
To enable/disable QR code in Reminder emails:
Restore default settings
To undo all the changes and restore default settings:
Click the Restore Default button > click Confirm.
Click Submit to save the changes.
