Multi-Mailroom: Pick Up

Learn how to use the Pick Up feature to transfer parcels between internal sites.

The Pick Up feature is a dedicated tool found under the Move function of the Parcel Tracker application. This feature allows you to pick up a parcel from any internal site when it is intended to be:

  • Transferred to a different site.

  • Delivered directly to a recipient located at another internal site.

By logging the pickup time and identifying the specific delivery person handling the package, this feature ensures you can accurately track internal organizational package movements with complete visibility before the parcel reaches its final drop-off point.

This function is designed to work together with the Drop-Off feature. Once a parcel has been picked up, it is later completed through the drop-off process, where it can either be delivered directly to the intended recipient or transferred to another internal site. Together, these features ensure a complete and traceable chain of custody for all internal parcel movements.

The Pick Up feature is part of the Parcel Tracker Multi-Mailroom system and is exclusively available to users on the Parcel Tracker Enterprise Plan. To learn more about Multi-Mailroom, refer to this guide here.

How to Use the Pick Up Feature on the Mobile App

  1. Tap Move from the bottom navigation menu, then select Pick Up.

  2. Select a filter to locate the parcels you want to pick up.

    • You can filter by Site or Drop-Off Location.

  3. Once a filter is applied, hold down the Circular Button to scan the parcel(s) you want to pick up.

    • Repeat this step for additional parcels.

  4. Tap the Parcel Cart icon.

  5. Review the selected parcels and add more by selecting parcels manually, if needed.

  6. Tap Pick Up to finalize.
