The Drop Off function enables couriers to either deliver parcels to their final recipients or transfer them to another site for continued routing. Each drop-off action is logged, maintaining the integrity of the parcel’s journey.
Steps to Drop Off Parcels:
Access the Move Tab:
Navigate to the “
Move” tab within the Parcel Tracker app.
Initiate Drop Off:
Tap the “
Drop Off” button to begin the process.
Scan Parcels:
Scan the barcodes of the parcels you are dropping off.
After scanning, you’ll be presented with two options:
Move:
Select this to transfer the parcel to another site.
Choose the destination site from the list provided.
This action continues the multi-hop routing process.
Check Out:
Select this to deliver the parcel to the final recipient.
Obtain the recipient’s signature or capture a photo as proof of delivery.
Note: All drop-off actions are time-stamped and logged, ensuring complete visibility of the parcel’s status.
