Delivering or Transferring Parcels

The Drop Off feature logs when and where a parcel is delivered.
Couriers can drop parcels off at the final recipient or move them to another location.

Only Owners and Admin users can enable this feature.

Steps to Drop Off Parcels:

  1. Access the Move Tab:

    • Navigate to the Move tab within the Parcel Tracker app.

  2. Initiate Drop Off:

    • Tap the Drop Off button to begin the process.

  3. Scan Parcels:

    • Scan the barcodes of the parcels you are dropping off.

After scanning, you’ll be presented with two options:

  1. Move:

    • Select this to transfer the parcel to another site.

    • Choose the destination site from the list provided.

    • This action continues the multi-hop routing process.

  2. Check Out:

    • Select this to deliver the parcel to the final recipient.

    • Obtain the recipient’s signature or capture a photo as proof of delivery.

Note: All drop-off actions are time-stamped and logged, ensuring complete visibility of the parcel’s status.
