While Single Scan Mode is incredibly fast, parcels often arrive with very large or unusually shaped shipping labels. In many of these cases, it is physically impossible to fit both the recipient’s name and the barcode into the camera's frame at the exact same time.
To avoid the frustration of failed scans and to make the logging process as smooth as possible for all package sizes, we made the Two-Step Scan mode the default setting. This ensures your staff can easily capture the name and the barcode separately, without having to awkwardly angle the device or struggle to fit everything on one screen.
