How to Enable and Use Batch Collection

Learn how to enable and use batch collection in Parcel Tracker.

What is Batch Collection?

The batch collection feature is used when mailroom staff gather multiple packages from reception to distribute to various recipients, eliminating the need for individual QR codes. This setup is particularly useful for outbound deliveries where staff deliver parcels instead of recipients picking them up individually.

You can enable Batch Collection on our Web Platform.

Only Owners and Admin users can enable this feature.

Enable Batch Collection

  1. In your parcel tracker account, navigate to Settings.

  2. Navigate to the Features tab.

  3. Turn on Batch Parcel Collection.

Batch Collection Using a Barcode

  1. Navigate to Collect and click Batch collection.

  2. Scan the barcodes of the parcels to be collected and press Collect.

  3. Obtain a Signature or take a Picture of the drop-off location.

  4. Press Sign and Collect.

Batch Collection Without Using a Barcode

You can view a list of all parcels and manually select them without scanning the barcodes.

  1. Navigate to Collect and click Batch collection.

  2. Click on the big Blue Box at the top of the screen.

  3. Click Select All or select them one by one.

  4. Click Next.

5. Click Collect.

6. Obtain a Signature or take a Picture of the drop-off location > press Sign and Collect.
