How to Log Outbound Parcels

Learn how to log outbound parcels in Parcel Tracker.

What are Outbound Parcels?

Parcel Tracker's outbound parcels feature lets you easily record all the parcels and mail leaving your site. You can log outbound parcels on both our Web Platform and our Mobile Application.

You will need to turn on the outbound parcels feature through the settings of your Parcel Tracker account before you can start logging them. To learn more about how to enable this feature, you can view our setup guide here.

How to Log Outbound Parcels on the Web Platform

Follow these steps to initially log an outbound parcel into the system before the courier arrives:

  1. In your Parcel Tracker account, click Parcels in the main navigation bar, then select Outbound.

  2. Click the + Add Parcel button.

  3. Enter the details of the parcel. You can select the Sender, Recipient, Address, Dimensions, Identifier, Courier, Tracking Number, and Notes. Once you are done entering the details, click Add Parcel to log the parcel.

How to Log Outbound Parcels on the Mobile App

Follow these steps to log an outbound parcel using your mobile device:

  1. On the mobile app, tap on Outbound, then select Log Parcel.

  2. Select the Sender of the outbound parcel.

  3. Take a picture of the parcel.

  4. Fill in the details of the parcel, such as its identifier, tracking number, courier, and notes, then tap Add Parcel. You may also use the camera icon to scan the parcel's Identifier and Tracking Number.

  5. Tap on the pencil icon to identify the recipient of the outbound parcel.

  6. Once you are done, review the information and tap Log Parcels to finalize.
