Create a New Email Notification Template

Learn how to create a new email notification templates for delivery, collection, and sign up emails on Parcel Tracker.

When standard notifications aren't quite enough, you can design custom emails tailored perfectly to your facility's specific needs. Whether you need to notify recipients about a fresh delivery, remind them of a pending collection, or welcome them with a sign-up email, Parcel Tracker allows you to build brand-new templates from scratch directly on the web platform. 

Only Owner and Admin users can create and manage email notification templates. To learn more about mailroom user access, feel free to check the full list of mailroom users and their permissions here.

Creating a Template on the Web Platform

Follow these steps to draft and save a new automated email template for your account:

  1. Log in to your Parcel Tracker account on the web platform and click Notifications on the main navigation bar.

  2. Locate the specific notification category you want a new template in (such as delivery, collection, or sign-up) and click the Plus symbol next to that section to expand it.

  3. Click Create to open a new template.

  4. Edit the template by adding your customized subject line, heading, body and etc., then click Submit to save your new email template to the system.
