How to Turn the Additional Parcel Details Feature On

Capture vital information for every delivery with the Additional Parcel Details Feature

Parcel Tracker’s Additional Parcel Details feature allows you to capture extra, vital information for every delivery, ensuring your team has full visibility from scan to collection. Once this feature is turned on, every parcel logged in will prompt the receptionist to add these extra details during the scanning phase.

Additional details include:

  • Sender: Identify and add who is the sender of the parcel.

  • Status Tags: Quickly label items as Damaged, Rejected, Perishable, or Large Item.

  • Parcel Attributes: Record parcel dimensions, tracking number and courier names.

  • Internal Tracking: Add custom notes and storage location (with the feature of adding a picture).

You can either turn this feature on using the web platform or mobile application.

Only Owners and Admin users can turn the additional parcel details feature on. Feel free to check the full lists of mailroom users and their permissions here.

Web Platform

  1. Log into your Parcel Tracker account and click Settings.

  2. Navigate to the Features tab.

  3. Toggle the switch to turn on Additional Parcel Details.

Mobile App

  1. Open the app and click the Settings icon found on the bottom navigation bar.

  2. Select Features.

  3. Toggle on Additional Parcel Details and tap Update.
