What is Parcel Collection?

Parcel Tracker's collection feature lets you easily hand over and securely record all the inbound parcels retrieved by recipients at your site. You can process these check-outs on both our Web Platform and our Mobile App.

How to Collect Parcels on the Web Platform

Follow these steps to hand over a parcel using your computer:

  1. In your Parcel Tracker account, click Parcels in the main navigation bar. If you have enabled the Outbound Parcels feature, make sure to select Inbound under Parcels.

  2. Select the specific parcel you are handing over and under the Checked-out Column, click on Check-out.

  3. Ask the recipient to leave a signature or leave a note, then click Collect.

How to Collect Parcels Using a QR Code (Mobile App)

Once you notify recipients that they have parcels waiting for them, they will instantly get an email with a QR code. Here is how to process it on the app:

  1. Open the application and tap Out, then select Recipient Check-out.

  2. Press and hold the circular button to scan the recipient's barcode.

  3. Tap Next.

  4. Ask for the recipient's signature, leave a note, or take a picture as proof of collection, then tap Check-out.

How to Collect Parcels Without a QR Code (Mobile App)

If the recipient cannot present their QR code, you can log the parcels out manually by looking up their profile:

  1. Open the application and tap Out, then select Recipient Check-out.

  2. Tap Search recipient and type the name of the recipient.

  3. Tap the blue bar above your screen which shows your selected recipient.

  4. Select the parcel to be collected and tap Close.

  5. Tap Next.

  6. Ask for the recipient's signature, leave a note, or take a picture as proof of collection, then tap Check-out.
