Tags are a powerful way to keep your mailroom organized. Whether you want to categorize packages by size, priority, or handling requirements (like "Fragile" or "Perishable"), you can easily create custom tags directly from the Parcel Tracker Web Platform.

Understanding Tags: Their Purpose and Applications

Custom tags give you extra flexibility in how you process and track deliveries.

By creating and assigning tags, you can:

  • Categorize individual parcels: Assign specific custom or existing tags to packages as they are logged into the system.

  • Inform your recipients: Optionally include the tag details in the automated collection email sent to the user, so they know exactly what to expect.

  • Filter and search: Easily sort, filter, and locate specific deliveries on the web platform based on their assigned tags.

How to Create a Custom Tag (Web Platform)

Ready to set up a new tag? Follow these quick steps from your computer:

  1. Log in to your Parcel Tracker account and click on Settings.

  2. Navigate to the Tags tab in the menu.

  3. Click the + Add Tag button.

  4. Give your tag a clear name, choose a background color to make it visually stand out, and click Save.
